Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Emma, who was one of the early Chapel Sessions Artists makes a long awaited return. She first supported, then shared the bill – now, in the true spirit of the Sessions, she returns with her band to headline in her own right. Come along and be blown away by her unique style of playing and singing her own uniquely crafted compositions.
Emma Stevens first picked up a guitar at the age of two and has since learnt cello, piano, banjo, ukulele and mandolin. Playing the majority of instruments on her albums herself, Emma has achieved four consecutive play-listed singles on BBC Radio 2. Emma also currently has two studio albums and, following a writing trip to Nashville, is currently working on completing a third (see her website http://www.emmastevensmusic.com to find out about this and exciting ways to get involved).
Tickets: £12.50 when booked in advance online.

Ray Cooper with support from Steve Skaith

An appreciative audience at Chapel Sessions on 6th May were treated to a fine set of songs and music from both artists. Steve Skaith opened with some well received thought provoking songs.

Next up we were treated to singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Ray Cooper with self penned songs and tunes from the north plus a few songs accompanied by the magnificent St Edward’s Church organ.

Our thanks go to both of these superb artists for appearing at Chapel Sessions.
